The KiteZone can provide just what you need. We are IKO Certified and offer kiteboarding instruction

BLOCK 1 - GROUND CLASS
Learn about wind direction, kite theory and how to fly a trainer kite. Safety features, self rescue and kite maneuvering. This block takes approximately 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the ability of each student.
BLOCK 2 - BODY DRAGS
Fly a large kite in the water and learn to maneuver using your body to navigate upwind and downwind. Approximate time for this block: 2 to 3 hours.

BLOCK 3 - RIDE THE BOARD
Fly your kite and learn to do waterstarts as you begin to put on your board and start riding! Continue to improve kite maneuvering and board position to ride on both sides. Approximate time for this block: 2 to 3 hours (once again these times are basic guidelines, there are people that take much longer depending on their abilities.)

You will receive private instruction from a small watercraft and or a jet ski that will guide you the whole way! We help you get through the learning curve safely and efficiently. The instructor will remain close by and you will have communication through a radio helmet for better assistance, re-launching your kite, and added safety.
